Fatboy Slim Plays It Safe For Son
Superstar DJ Fatboy Slim gave up smoking and his motorbike for his young son, because he was terrified of dying and missing out on fatherhood.
The 42-year-old is desperate to live a long life so he can watch five-year-old WOODY - his son with radio DJ and TV presenter ZOE BALL - grow up.
He tells New! magazine, "I've become less irresponsible. I've got to think of Woody as well as myself now.
"I'm not going to ride my scooter any more because if I got knocked off it and killed, it wouldn't be just me that got hurt, I'd be leaving someone without a father.
"I want to be around for Woody, which is why I also gave up smoking."
