Farrow To Continue Working For Unicef
Actress MIA FARROW insists her return to acting will not interfere with her efforts as goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). The 51-year-old star, who suffered from polio as a child, now campaigns to fight the disease in developing countries such as Sudan. Farrow also claims there are underlying messages in many of her films, including the new remake of horror classic THE OMEN, which relate to human nature and international affairs. She says, "I think the underlying message of The Omen is the same as ROSEMARY'S BABY, in a sense the duality of human nature is that we are capable of great goodness and altruism. "We have to look no further than the Darfur region of Sudan to see the other aspect of human nature, capable of terrible things."
