Fans Can Visit War Of The Worlds Set

Studio bosses at NBC/UNIVERSAL aren't wasting any time in cashing in on summer (05) blockbuster WAR OF THE WORLDS - they've already added a destroyed set from the new STEVEN SPIELBERG film to their Backlot Tour.

Movie fans and tourists can now drive through the wreckage of a 747 aeroplane crash, where TOM CRUISE runs away from aliens as part of the famous tour - even though the film isn't released until 29 June (05).

The wreckage-strewn street scene is part of the 45 minute backlot tram tour, which also takes the curious past the Bates Motel from the original PSYCHO, through KING KONG's New York and visits the set of HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS.
