Evans' Album Inspired By Dignified First Ladies
R+B star FAITH EVANS has called her new album THE FIRST LADY in tribute to the wives of US presidents who kept their lives private.
The urban star became a hot newspaper topic when she married late rapper BIGGIE SMALLS two months after meeting him in 1995, and was blamed for causing increased tensions between East Coast and West Coast rappers due to her association with TUPAC SHAKUR.
However, Evans has always chosen to keep her mouth shut - a tactic she's learned from many of America's First Ladies, including JACKIE KENNEDY.
She says, "You know, those first ladies go through all kinds of scandals, but they don't hold press conferences and tell you what's going on. I have respect for that. Everybody doesn't need to know every aspect of my life."04/04/2005 17:40
