Eno Left Roxy Music To Do His Laundry

Veteran rocker Brian Eno decided to leave Roxy Music in 1973 when he found himself contemplating when he was going to do his laundry in the middle of a gig.

Eno, who recently confirmed he'll rejoin Roxy Music in the studio for a new album, was also growing apart from frontman Bryan Ferry when he made his momentous decision to quit.

He says, "(Thinking about laundry onstage) contributed to my leaving. At that moment I concluded I shouldn't be there if I wasn't there.

"I was also having disagreements with Bryan Ferry. Basically I was ready to do something else."
