Eminem Sued By Video Games Company
Long-suffering rapper EMINEM is at the centre of yet another lawsuit.
Video game company CONSPIRACY ENTERTAINMENT claims the LOSE YOURSELF hitmaker is guilty of fraud and breach of contract, and is seeking $5 million (GBP3.13 million) in damages and lost revenue.
Conspiracy claims the GRAMMY-award winning performer pulled out of an agreement to create a game with them after his profile blossomed, in order to negotiate a more profitable deal with another company.
KEITH TANKA, chief executive officer at Conspiracy, mutters, "We were not aware of any problems until we started getting some press on our new product. Then we started hearing rumours about Eminem negotiating a better deal with ROCKSTAR GAMES, or some other big video game publisher.
"Apparently, our deal must have been in the way because there was no other reason for (agents) BRAVADO ENTERTAINMENT and COUSINS INTERNATIONAL to stop us from introducing a video game that was approved before the contract ever got signed."28/07/2003 17:31
