Elvis Is Set For Broadway

ELVIS PRESLEY's music will be the centrepiece of a new Broadway, New York, musical, set for 2005.

Twenty of THE KING's tunes will feature in ALL SHOOK UP, the tale of a magic jukebox. The musical is the latest to use modern pop icons' music to tell stories - other Broadway productions that have utilised popular music include BILLY JOEL'S MOVIN' OUT and MAMMA MIA, which features the songs of ABBA.

Other musicals featuring the music of JOHN LENNON, the BEE GEES and FLEETWOOD MAC are already in the pipeline.
