British celebrity couple SIR ELTON JOHN and DAVID FURNISH are planning to go wild before their upcoming nuptials with a joint hen (bachelorette) party.

The ROCKET MAN singer and Canadian film producer will wed on 21 December (05), just weeks after same-sex civil partnerships become legal in England.

And famous pal GEORGE MICHAEL told listeners of London's Capital FM radio yesterday (28NOV05), the grooms-to-be are planning a lavish, loud pre-wedding bash.

Michael says, "I think they're having a hen night before, which is not going to be so low-key (as their wedding). I might not be there for that."

However, Michael and his partner KENNY GOSS will be attending the ceremony.
