Elton And David Get Certificate
SIR Elton John and David Furnish's civil partnership certificate has been released following their 21 December (05) ceremony.
The happy couple 'married' in the same Windsor, England, venue as British royal Prince Charles and CAMILLA, Duchess of Cornwall, under new British Laws which afford homosexual partnerships the same rights as traditional heterosexual marriages.
According to the document, the couple's mothers acted as witnesses at the ceremony.
It also shows John was married under the name Elton Hercules John. He was born REGINALD KENNETH DWIGHT but changed his name by deed poll.
