Duff Has Disturbing Stage Experience In Venezuela
Singer and actress Hilary Duff had a disturbing experience during a recent show in Venezuela, when a fan climbed up a lighting rig during her performance.
The SO YESTERDAY singer was unsure about continuing with the show when she saw the young male hanging several feet over the stage.
She tells MTV NEWS, "This crazy fan, in the middle of the show, had climbed up the lighting rig, which is 30 feet above me, and was like hanging down there. And he started screaming my name.
"I looked up and I was like, 'Oh my God!' There was like this crazy person with this like big Venezuelan flag, waving it at me and saying like, 'Venezuela! Venezuela!'
"The song started and I kept singing and I didn't know whether it was bad or good. And then I was like, 'Forget it,' and walked off stage. I went back and finished the show, but it was kinda scary.
"He was a fan. He turned out to be this really nice kid, just a little crazy. He liked to climb."
