Drowning Pool Replace Williams
Heavy rockers DROWNING POOL have named JASON JONES as the replacement for dead singer DAVE WILLIAMS.
Williams died unexpectedly during the group's 2002 OZZFEST tour, prompting his bandmates to consider splitting up.
The group asked Williams' family for their thoughts and it was decided the band should continue. The group now plan to release a follow-up to their hit 2001 album SINNER.
Guitarist CJ PIERCE says, "We are extremely excited about working with Jason, and recording all of the material for the next record. Our fans will definitely not be disappointed."
Meanwhile, Drowning Pool have submitted a new song, WIND-UP, to the soundtrack of new JOHN TRAVOLTA film THE PUNISHER.26/01/2004 20:57
