Dmx Due In Court Again
LATEST: Hip-hop star DMX is in trouble with the law again, after being cited for traffic more violations.
DMX - real name EARL SIMMONS - was stopped on Friday (02JUN06) in White Plains, New York State, after police suspected him of speeding and driving dangerously.
According to Deputy Police Commissioner DANIEL JACKSON, police discovered the rapper was not wearing a seat belt and did not have a driver's license.
The 35-year-old was charged and ordered to appear in court on 16 June (06).
Last year (05), DMX served 70 days in jail for violating his parole following a 2004 incident in which he posed as an undercover federal agent and crashed his vehicle through a security gate at Kennedy International Airport in New York City.
A week after he pleaded guilty, state police accused him of driving over 100 miles-per-hour (161 kilometres-per-hour) on a New York freeway.
Last month (MAY06), the hip-hop star was arrested in London after allegedly becoming abusive on a flight from New York City.
