Dmx Arrested For Swearing Onstage
Rapper DMX has been arrested for swearing on stage during a gig on the Caribbean island St Kitts and Nevis.
The incident happened on Friday (27JUN03) after authorities in the tropical paradise took exception to the WHO WE BE singer's choice of language.
Information Minister JACINTH HENRY MARTIN says the rapper signed a contract that had "made it very clear that there are laws in St Kitts that do not take kindly to the use of indecent language on stage".
But DMX's management say they never agreed to censor his act.
DMX is due to appear in court in Basseterre tomorrow (30JUN03).
