Diddy Fighting Child Support Payments
LATEST: SEAN 'P DIDDY' COMBS has instructed his lawyers to fight a court order that he should pay $35,000 (GBP19,600) a month in child support.
New York Judge DAVID KLEIN - who worked out the monthly allowance on the assumption that Diddy makes $50 million (GBP27.8 million) each year - also told the rap mogul he owed more than $398,000 (GBP220,000) in backdated child support payments to MISA BRIM, the mother of his 10-year-old son, JUSTIN.
Diddy's lawyer STEPHEN GASSMAN said, "This is a gross abuse of discretion by the court. We are confident it will be overturned on appeal.
"This is not about child support, it's about adult support. Any increase in support will be likely utilised to enhance Misa Brim and her two other children's lifestyle rather than in any way benefit Mr Combs' already well provided for son."06/10/2004 17:52
