Diaz's Reconnect With Her Roots Through Fashion
Hollywood babe CAMERON DIAZ is getting in touch with her roots by designing a range of Native American handbags.
The CHARLIE'S ANGELS actress - whose mother BILLIE is a mix of Anglo-German and Native American - has flown to China to ask her favourite fashion designer DAVID JET BLACK HORSE, for lessons in making the colourful bags.
Horse enthuses, "Cameron is really excited. She has a bag designed in her head but this time, instead of me making it, she wants to work with leather and sew in the traditional Native American way.
"She will fly out and meet me in Beijing next month."
The stunning blonde has already bought over 20 of Horse's creations, and agreed to fly to China to spend time with the designer on his little time off.
Diaz just finished filming comedy drama IN HER SHOES and has several months off before she begins making female fighter pilot movie W.A.S.P.S.01/11/2004 10:47
