'Devastated' Queen Cancel Gigs After Terror Attacks

QUEEN rockers have postponed their London concerts on Friday (08JUL05) after expressing their devastation at seeing the terrorist attacks in the British capital.

London was in chaos this morning (07JUL05) after four bombs exploded on the city's underground railway and a bus within an hour in central London, leading to over 1,000 injuries and 37 deaths.

Newly-reformed Queen, with new frontman PAUL RODGERS, were set to play Hyde Park on Friday, but have cancelled the gig out of respect for the city's inhabitants.

Queen guitarist BRIAN MAY says, "We're all devastated to wake up and see the appalling bombing in London. Our hearts go out to all those innocents so cruelly attacked."
