Destiny's Child Sweep Awards

R+B supergroup Destiny's Child were the big winners at last night's (31AUG05) World Music Awards - the only ceremony based on worldwide music sales.

The trio, Beyonce Knowles, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland, took home the World's Best Selling Pop Group, World's Best Selling R+B Group and World's Best Selling Girl Group Of All Time awards.

They will play their final concert in Vancouver, Canada on 10 September (05) before going their separate ways.

Former NO DOUBT star Gwen Stefani accepted her award for World's Best Selling New Female Artist via-satellite, saying, "We've been all around the world and that's my favourite part of everything I do."

R+B star Usher, who won three awards last year, took home Male Entertainer Of The Year.

The awards were presented by DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star James Denton, and former Baywatch actress Carmen Electra who made headlines hosting the event wearing just her underwear and a feather boa.
