Designer Hopes For Bond To Return To His British Roots
Slick secret agent James Bond has been deemed in need of a makeover - and
British designer Ozwald Boateng believes he's just the man to do it.
Savile Row designer Boateng, who has dressed such actors as SAMUEL
JACKSON, Russell Crowe, DANIEL DAY-LEWIS and Will Smith and most recently
Laurence Fishburne and ADRIAN and Neil Rayment for The Matrix Reloaded
premieres - thinks 007,
currently portrayed by Pierce Brosnan, should return to his London roots.
He says, "Traditionally Bond wears Savile Row suits. But Pierce has been
wearing Italian suits. We need to get him back to Savile Row. But I'm
optimistic."
