Depp's Scottish Struggle
Johnny Depp might be one of Hollywood's most versatile actors, but he still found it hard to master the Scottish accent.
The PIRATES OF CARIBBEAN: THE CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL actor had to master the thick dialect for his latest role as Peter Pan author J M BARRIE in upcoming movie Finding Neverland.
He recalls, "Musically and rhythmically, I initially couldn't quite get a hold of it. Luckily I found a dialect coach who helped me out a great deal.
"We also had a couple of crew guys who were Scottish and picked up where my accent wasn't right."
