Depp Doesn't Want To Ruin Girlfriend's Name

Johnny Depp has scrapped plans to wed his longtime girlfriend VANESSA PARADIS because he doesn't want to ruin her name.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean: THE CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL star has often thought about proposing to the mother of his two kids - but he doesn't want her to have his name.

He explains, "It would be a shame to ruin her last name. It's so perfect. So beautiful.

"It would be such a drag to stick her with Paradis-Depp. It's like a flat note."

But Depp wouldn't hesitate to marry the French star if she insisted they wed.

He adds, "She's the woman of my life. If she ever said, 'Hey, let's get hitched,' I would do it in a second."
