Depp And Letterman Bet On Cold Symptoms
Johnny Depp and American chat show king David Letterman have made a $20 (GBP12.50) bet that the movie star's current cold virus will not clear up in the next two weeks.
Both men were suffering with flu-like symptoms when they met on THE LATE SHOW on Wednesday night (18JUN03). Depp insisted his fever would be short-lived, so bet-happy Letterman decided to offer him a wager.
Depp has agreed to call Letterman in a fortnight and let him know the status of his symptoms.
