Delonge Happy To Be Back To 'Normality' After Blink-182
Rocker TOM DELONGE knew his days with BLINK-182 were numbered because the band toured so much he never got to see his young family.
The guitarist, who has since formed new group ANGELS AND AIRWAYS, was relieved when Blink-182 announced they were taking an "indefinite hiatus" in February (05) after a tour of Europe in late 2004 proved particularly traumatic.
He says, "I was super-bummed because I needed to go home and see my daughter and my wife. We'd been away from home for nearly two years and I was really unhappy.
"It got to the point where my family couldn't be my first priority and I wasn't willing to uproot them every time I went on tour. It just wasn't fair - they needed some normality."
