Delon In Heart Scare
French screen legend Alain Delon has been admitted to a Paris clinic for heart tests after an illness forced the veteran actor to cancel his appearance in a play.
The 1960s heart-throb, whose acclaimed roles include hitman JEF COSTELLO in 1967 classic LE SAMOURAI and as a jewel thief in heist movie Le Cercle Rouge, agreed to undergo three days of medical examination on the advice of his cardiologist.
The 69-year-old made the announcement saying, "I do not want to be the subject of rumours."
The star has previously suffered from depression after the break-up of his third marriage to ROSALIE VAN BREMEN.
He says, "I am suffering in the part of me that has always been the most sensitive - the heart."
