De Niro's Movie Amnesia

Film legend Robert De Niro is always a disappointment to film enthusiasts, because he can never remember shooting any of his movies.

The GOODFELLAS OSCAR winner has made over 65 films since his big screen debut as an uncredited diner in 1965 film TROIS CHAMBRES à MANHATTAN - and he confesses he even struggles to remember roles he has played in recent movies.

De Niro says, "People have asked me, 'How did you feel when you did this or that scene?', and I have difficulty in recalling the scene, let alone how I felt about it.

"I remember one guy asking what I was thinking about in a sad scene in SLEEPERS, in which I played a priest. I told him, 'Maybe I was wondering what time lunch would be.' I just did not have the first idea."
