Danza's Talk Show Bites The Dust

Former WHO'S THE BOSS star TONY DANZA's talk show won't be returning after the programme finishes its run this season (06). Danza told his studio audience on Friday (24MAR06) that it is "unlikely" his show will return next season. The talk show has been plagued by cancellation rumours, fuelled in large part by the announcement that a new daytime show hosted by US Food Network star RACHAEL RAY would be replacing him in some markets. Danza says, "We are going to finish real strong and enjoy what we have left."

	It's not just the men....I am a female and can't stand the show. Loved "who's the boss", hate his talk show. The reason I hate it is because he acts like a self absorbed 9 year old. Why does he invite guests onto his show when all he does is interupt them? He never even lets his guests finish a sentance!!! And the cook? He never lets him cook!!!! So annoying. I know its called the "Tony Danza Show" but he is way too much of a know it all and way to vain to be a successful talkshow host. Somebody needs to give him ridallin, because he obviously has ADD. He's not that bright or maybe well mannered either... when I saw the show he had a guest come on to generate awareness about Bi-Polor Disorder and then when the guy left he made light of it by suggesting his next guest might have it! He needs to become a pool boy for one of you poor desparate housewives to whom he brings light every day....maybe they can make it into the next reality tv show. I'm sure he'd put on a speedo for you.

	Unbelievable that the TONY DANZA SHOW was cancelled!!! I was totally wondering why the local news channel filled that airtime with their boring show. I thought it was temporary. And when Tony's show came back after that small hiatus, I thought "WHEW". How do these networks really decide to take a show off anyway? Are they even getting feedback from the public? I felt that besides Ellen DeGeneres, that Tony Danza also provided viewers with realness, if that's a word. Tony is so real, so genuine... something that is pretty hard for a lot of talk-show hosts to convey and it came so naturally for Tony! I loved his singing at the end and the cooking guests he'd have. I know I'm repeating myself, but HE WAS SO REAL!!! I loved how he makes his live audience comfortable, his TV audience comfortable and his guests comfortable. That's his forte. His sweetness and wonderful character absolutely shines through! Now, he's someone that anyone can approach on the street and have a real conversation with. I've always loved all his sitcoms in the past, but seeing him in this talk-show platform has made me a true fan of his! I'm so utterly sad and bummed out that they cancelled his show. I always watched him over Martha and is it really true that Rachel Annoying Ray is taking his place?? Why can't they just keep her where she belongs - on the FOOD NETWORK!! I mean, I have nothing against her, I know she's nice and all and has all these neat ideas (that aren't really all that innovative, by the way), but come on! Replacing TONY??? Oh hell no. I don't wish her "unsuccess" but I can tell you one thing for sure, no one I know or I will be watching her show. Tony, please come back!!! You so totally have what's missing on TV these days!!! Why can't these blind-ass networks see that you're one of the few gems left in the TV/Entertainment Industry?? Why???

	I AM WITH THE MAJORITY, I AM SOOOOOOOOOO TICKED OFF THAT THEY CANCELLED TONY DANZA - I ALSO WATCHED TAXI, WHOS THE BOSS AND EVERYTHING AFTER, I STILL WATCH THE RERUNS, I THINK HE WAS REFRESHING!!!!! I WAS WATCHING ELLEN AND AS SOON AS TONY'S SHOW CAME ON, BYE BYE ELLEN!!!!!!!!!! I WON'T BE WATCHING ABC ANYMORE EITHER, "THEY ARE MOORONS AT THAT NETWORK", "THEY SHOULD FIRE WHOEVER FIRED TONY DANZA!!!! I AM SOOOOO DONE WITH THEM. AND OF ALL SHOWS...RACHEL RAY???? ARE THEY KIDDING ME???? I CAN SEE COOKING SHOWS BEING ON CABLE BUT WHO IN THE HE*L WANTS TO WATCH ONE...IN THE AM.. AND ON A MAJOR NETWORK AND...RACHEL RAY???? "SHE IS INCREDIBLY ANNOYING" - I HOPE SHE BOMBS BIG TIME!!! PLUS, WHO HAS TIME TO COOK? PAY ME AND I'LL COOK, BUT I CERTAINLY WON'T WATCH SOMEONE WHO GETS PAID TO COOK TO MAKE HER RICH.
