Cusack Duped By His Own Movie

Actor John Cusack promises his new thriller Identity will keep audiences guessing - because even he was duped by the script.

The HIGH FIDELITY star admits he was confident about the ending of the film when he scanned through the first few sections of the script - until he read the next few pages.

He admits, "I thought I had it figured out in the first 30 pages. I thought, 'All right, they can't keep this up. It's going to be this guy, and she's part of the...,' and then page 50 surprised me.

"There are two or three big twists in the end. I thought, 'Oh, this is pretty good. This is fun.'

"It's a pretty good mix of a smart movie that's twisted and intense and part Saturday night popcorn movie."
