Cruz's Pre-Oscars Fast Food Ritual

Spanish star Penelope Cruz always dines out on fast food before the OSCARS - because Hollywood's diners help her combat her nerves.

The VANILLA SKY star famously gobbled down a cheeseburger minutes before she appeared on the red carpet at last month's (27FEB05) Academy Awards, and she admits it isn't the first time she has dined out in her designer gown before the big show.

She explains, "The other time I had like a lentil soup in my gown and it's great to see all the people that are there getting so nervous, because it's like a wedding that day. It's so crazy."
