Cruz Seeks Solace In Berry
Spanish stunner Penelope Cruz has been inundating Hollywood pal Halle Berry with phone calls - because she's convinced the understanding actress will help mend her broken heart.
Cruz and A-list star TOM CRUISE stunned people the world over last week (ends26MAR04) by announcing they split up in January (04), and the actress - who's currently shooting Sahara in the Moroccan desert - is reportedly desperate to arrange a meeting with her OSCAR winning friend.
The pair met on the set of 2003 chiller Gothika and have remained close pals ever since.
An insider says, "They've spoken a lot and they plan to meet very soon."
