Cruz Is Not Motivated By Oscars

Penelope Cruz never considers the OSCAR-winning potential of the films she signs up to - even though she dreams of receiving a Best Actress prize.

The Spanish beauty always chooses roles she knows will challenge her acting talents, rather than actively seeking out movies destined for Oscar glory.

However, Cruz admits winning an ACADEMY AWARD would be the ultimate career achievement.

She says, "(It would be) like a dream because you don't do the movie for that reason.

"But I think for any actor something like that will always be welcome. It's not an easy thing though."
