Cruise Books Out Toy Store For Katie's Birthday

TOM CRUISE stunned fiancee Katie Holmes with an early birthday surprise on Thursday (15DEC05) when he closed down her favourite New York toy store so she could party.

Family and friends gathered at the FAO Schwartz, where the actress, who actually turns 27 on Sunday (18DEC05), was served with candlelit cupcakes.

The couple then joined Cruise's mum and his daughter ISABELLA for a midnight ice skating session at an outdoor rink nearby.
