Russell Crowe - Crowe's Boxing Film Gets Another Chance

Movie executives at Universal are refusing to let RUSSELL CROWE's boxing drama CINDERELLA MAN do down without a fight by re-releasing the movie in select cinemas.

The film, which followed the career of Depression Era boxer JIM BRADDOCK was a flop when it was released earlier this year (05), but producers and movie chiefs are convinced it's still an Oscar contender.

They hope re-releasing the film this weekend (beg18NOV05) will generate Oscar buzz and give the movie a second chance.
