Classic rockers CREAM's reunion shows in New York City last week (24-26OCT05) look set to break new records at Madison Square Garden.
The shows - Cream's first US dates in 37 years - were monster box office hits, grossing more than $10.6 million (GBP5.9 million).
According to officials at the fabled New York venue, more than 56,000 fans caught the three-night stint.
But it's the merchandising figures which are expected to set new Garden records when all receipts are accounted for later this week - revenues from sales of T-shirts and memorabilia are expected to gross more than $11 million (GBP6.1 million).
