Crazy's Chart Run Ends
GNARLS BARKLEY's nine-week run at the top of the UK singles chart has come to end after the duo deleted hit song CRAZY. The hip-hop duo, who slip to number two with stocks of Crazy dwindling, are replaced at number one by Scottish singer SANDI THOM's debut single I WISH I WAS A PUNK ROCKER. Indie stars KEANE climb 12 places to number three with their comeback single IS IT ANY WONDER, while INFERNAL and PINK round out the top five with FROM PARIS TO BERLIN and WHO KNEW. Rockers ORSON are a new entry at number one on the album chart with BRIGHT IDEA, pushing RED HOT CHILI PEPPER's double LP STADIUM ARCADIUM into second place. Welsh outfit FEEDER fall one place to number three with their greatest hits collection THE SINGLES and Northern Irish rockers SNOW PATROL also slip a place to number four with EYES OPEN. Pop punk PINK proves she is still alive by also claiming fifth spot on the album chart with I'M NOT DEAD.
