Couple Get Engaged On Mtv Request Show

MTV show TOTAL REQUEST LIVE had its first on-air proposal yesterday (20APR05) when a fan of the programme got down on bended knee to ask his girlfriend to marry him.

The Ohio-based fan, DJ BLINK, was in New York with his girlfriend Hannah BREWSTER when he was picked out of a crowd to select a video by host VANESSA MINILLO (corr).

He picked video number six because "I've been going out with my girl for about six months now... and Times Square is awesome and I just have to do something on live TV and this is awesome."

He then proposed to his girlfriend, who accepted.
