Cook's Family Fears

Newly-engaged movie star Rachael Leigh Cook fears it will be quite some time before she becomes a mother because she can't even take care of plants or animals.

The JOSIE + THE PUSSYCATS star is so hopeless at taking care of things that all the plants in her apartment are plastic and she refuses to become a dog owner, ever though she loves pooches.

She says, "I think I'm going to wait awhile and think long and hard before starting a family. First, I want to learn to keep the plants and the dogs alive."

The actress became engaged to actor DAN GILLIES earlier this year (04).
