Connery Tops Parenting Poll
Ageing actor Sean Connery has won rapturous praise for his role as HARRISON FORD'S father in INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE - voted best portrayal of a movie dad ever.
The poll, for www.SPLASHDVD.com, put Dennis Hopper in second place for his part in TRUE ROMANCE, and James Stewart in third place for IT'S A WONDERFUL life.
Other film fathers who scored well were Tom Hanks in Road To Perdition, Robert De Niro in Meet The Parents and Chevy Chase for his parts in the NATIONAL LAMPOON series.
