Clark Turns To Europe With His Explicit Snaps
19 April 2005Controversial director Larry Clark is seeking a European publisher to release a book of his shocking photographs - because US publishers are disgusted by the snaps of underage sex and drug abuse.
Clark, who caused an uproar with his disturbing 1995 movie Kids, has a stack of explicit pictures waiting to be published, but so far no one in America has been prepared to take the risk.
The horrific images are currently being exhibited at New York's International Centre of Photography, but they were forced to open without a catalogue because the photos are too offensive.
A source says, "Clark's images are a bit too risque for the current climate in America.
"And until the Michael Jackson's trial ends, it looks set to stay that way.
"Larry's on the look out for a liberal-minded European publisher to come to his rescue."
