Welsh singer CHARLOTTE CHURCH thanked LIAM GALLAGHER at last night's (10OCT05) Q Awards in London, after the OASIS singer boosted Church's public image by praising her drinking abilities.

The CRAZY CHICK beauty was delighted when Gallagher expressed his admiration for her party-fuelled lifestyle earlier this summer (05) - because he is notorious for making derogatory remarks about fellow stars.

And the 19-year-old decided to show her appreciation as she prepared to present the The Q Lifetime Achievement Award to BEE GEES singer ROBIN GIBB.

She told the star-studded audience, "I've just got to thank Liam because he made some choice remarks that have done my credibility no end of good."
