Church Goes Bad For Spider-Man 3
OSCAR nominee THOMAS HADEN CHURCH has been handpicked to play SPIDER-MAN's new nemesis in director SAM RAIMI's third movie about the web-slinging superhero.
The SIDEWAYS star will join the ranks of WILLEM DAFOE and ALFRED MOLINA, who played Spider-Man villains in the first two films.
Spider-Man 3 is scheduled for release in May 2007. According to trade paper HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, the new film will again star TOBEY MAGUIRE as PETER PARKER/SPIDER-MAN, and KIRSTEN DUNST.
Director Raimi says, "Thomas Haden Church will be a fantastic and challenging new nemesis, and we all look forward to working with him."
The film-makers are not revealing the identity of the new villain.22/03/2005 22:06
