Teen soprano Charlotte Church has finally fallen for a man her mother approves of - movie hunk Johnny Depp.

The Voice Of An Angel beauty, 18, is currently dating Cardiff lad KYLE JOHNSON following the demise of her volatile relationship with bad boy ex STEVEN JOHNSON (no relation).

But her over-protective mother Maria isn't a big fan of either boy - and would much prefer her to land her dream date with the Pirates Of The Caribbean: THE CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL star.

Charlotte laughs, "He's the sexiest man on the planet. My mum agrees - we've similar tastes."

Unfortunately for Charlotte, Johnny is happily co-habiting with long term love Vanessa Paradis and their two children.
