Chuck D To Take Over Cable Station For A Week

Rap veteran Chuck D is giving fans the chance to enjoy his favourite programming, when he takes over an American cable station for a whole week.

From 2 July (04), the Public Enemy icon is taking over the TRIO channel, where he'll showcase his top picks, and will also introduce each selection, providing personal commentary on how the various films and documentaries shaped his life as an artist.

Among his picks are the network television premiere of Nick Broomfield's documentary BIGGIE + Tupac, the coming-of-age film COOLEY HIGH, the 1964 segregation drama NOTHING BUT A MAN and Mario Van Peebles' historic film about the origins of the BLACK PANTHERS, PANTHER.

It will also include the world premiere of PUBLIC ENEMY: LIVE FROM THE House Of Blues.
