Christie: My 60s Look Was Irresponsible

Classy actress JULIE CHRISTIE hates to watch her classic 1965 film DOCTOR ZHIVAGO - because of the animal-unfriendly outfits she wore in it.

The British beauty played LARA ANTIPOVA in the much-loved movie, but in retrospect she's not comfortable with the clothing she donned.

Julie explains, "I realise a woman in a fur coat with a gun spells glamour, and that seems so irresponsible to me now.

"I'm virulently anti-fur and can't believe that I wore all those dead moles."
