Chris Martin's 'Original' Music Praised By Eavis

COLDPLAY have been hailed as the best band appearing at England's three-day Glastonbury Festival by organiser MICHAEL EAVIS.

Glastonbury 2005 saw electrifying performances from music royalty including the WHITE STRIPES, BRIAN WILSON and THE KILLERS - but no one came close to Coldplay in Eavis' opinion.

He enthuses, "(My highlight was) Coldplay's last song FIX YOU. I'm a real Coldplay fan. I think CHRIS MARTIN has come up with something really new in pop music. The whole concept and songwriting - it's original music and it's not churning out the same rock and roll music like so many other bands do year after year."
