Chicago Producer's Money Accusations
Chicago producer Marty Richards claims he's still awaiting payment for his work on the film version of the stage musical - even though it raked in more than $304 million (GBP160 million) at the box office.
Richards has accused film company Miramax of failing to live up to their promise of a profit share.
He claims Miramax bosses are asserting the multiple OSCAR-winning musical has not yet made a profit, despite costing only $47.5 million (GBP25 million) to make.
A Miramax spokesperson has dismissed Richards' accusations as "baseless", adding, "We were all proud of the great success of Chicago."
