Chan Quits Beverly Hills For China

RUSH HOUR star JACKIE CHAN has decided to quit California for good to make China his home base.

The Hong Kong native, 50, is selling his five-bedroom Beverly Hills mansion for $6.7 million (GBP3.5 million), after realising he only spends four to six weeks a year in the city, while his wife JOANNE and their 22-year-old son JAYCEE rarely visit.

The action star and director has owned the home, which also boasts a gym, pool and spa, since 1988.

Chan has a home in Hong Kong and owns 150 acres in Shanghai, China, and some land in Beijing. He currently manufactures motorcycles and cars and owns high-rise buildings, restaurants and a growing number of stores in China.
