Cattrall: 'I'm Not Britney's Godmother'

Former SEX AND THE CITY star KIM CATTRALL has laughed off reports she'll be made the godmother of BRITNEY SPEARS' baby son SEAN.

The actress, who played sexy SAMANTHA in the hit US TV show, would be honoured to take on the role of responsibility - but she is adamant the TOXIC singer has not approached her.

But she says, "I would be so honoured. Britney and I did a film together (CROSSROADS) and I think it started because I played her mother in the film. I am not the godmother of her child.

"It put a smile on my face when I heard the rumour because I like her very much."
