Cates Quits Acting
FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH star Phoebe Cates quit her acting career behind to focus on her family life with husband Kevin Kline.
Although she still gets acting offers, Cates always turns them down, preferring to care for her children, Owen and GRETA, and let Kline have his time in the spotlight.
She says, "One of us had to do it."
Cates has also opened a boutique in Manhattan, New York City, and is enjoying her new career as a high-end retailer.
She says, "I love every part of it. Even the head-achy part. There's nothing I wouldn't consider selling."
