Cat Joins British Government In Fight Against Extremism
Yusuf Islam is to act as an advisor to the British government, as part of their desperate bid to stamp out Muslim extremism.
The MOON SHADOW singer, previously known as CAT STEVENS and a convert to Islam since 1977, joins 100 other people in advising the Home Office on issues including engaging with women and young people, education, extremism, regional issues, security and policing.
The singing star and his fellow consultants will not be paid for their services.
