Carlton Does Ballet In Boyfriend's New Video

Pop star Vanessa Carlton's boyfriend Stephan Jenkins asked the singer to perform ballet in her new video - even though she had not done it since she was a child.

Jenkins persuaded his girlfriend to re-create her perfect arabesque which he'd seen in childhood photographs when he co-directed her video for WHITE HOUSES.

And Carlton was thrilled when she realised she still has her ballet moves.

She says, "Right now, dancing in videos is all masculine, harsh-looking movements, but this is very feminine and fluid.

"Stephan always wanted to see me dance. I felt like I was nine years-old again.

"It's definitely more painful to do now, but I humbly accepted it."
