Cage.s Seven.year Tattoo Cycle

Nicolas Cage gets a new tattoo every seven years - to mark serious change
in his life.

The moody movie star never plans a tattoo but has discovered he feels the
need to get one every seven years.

He says, "Tattoos to me are the outward symbol of the inward change within
my soul.

"I feel that whenever I've gone through a major change in my life I
somehow wind up getting a tattoo. It only happens once every seven years and I
think it helps in some way."
